Meet Grace

Meet Grace, a Clinical Hypnotist, Mindfulness Facilitator, and Instructor since 2018 at the University of Toronto’s School of Continuing Studies. Grace has a unique, empathetic approach for guiding people through life challenges and building self management skills. Her approach focuses on providing a gentle, joyful, and safer container where her clients can be witnessed, supported, and resourced. Grace’s careful, trauma informed approach aims to meet people where they are with reverence and respect for their circumstances and lived experiences. This may be particularly accommodating for those living with chronic pain, neurodivergence, and health conditions that make accessing traditional therapeutic methods more challenging.
Certified in hypnosis, trauma informed mindfulness for chronic pain management and stress management, Grace uses a non-invasive, drug-free approach to help her clients modify their behaviour, reduce their anxiety and negative self-talk, and create new habits resulting in improved mental and emotional well-being. Her focus is serving her clients and community with empowering, evidence-based therapeutic interventions for change.
“The point is to become obsolete. My clients absolutely will not need me forever. And that is a good thing. I want to give others the tools and support they need to manage themselves and harness their own deep wisdom and strengths. When they can self regulate, create new habits, and tap into their inner knowing with ease and certainty, that is what success looks like. The point is to support their unique needs and path so respectfully and with as little interference as possible that they leave me knowing that they did the work and they have the answers. After years of teaching at the University I’m expanding my offerings. Change with Grace is the culmination of years of thoughtful planning and has the express purpose of expanding my offerings to work with clients individually and in groups to create fulfilling, purpose-filled, and joyful lives.”
